FAQs
How long do wallpapers last?
Good quality wallpapers can last up to 10 years.
Can I remove wallpaper, and what would it look like?
The peel & stick option can simply be removed by pulling it off slowly – you can wash your wall after removal and no re-painting will be necessary. The traditional wallpaper can also be removed by pulling it off, but you will have to re-paint your wall to have a smooth finish again.
What is the difference between a carpet and a rug?
A carpet is a floor covering that extends from side to side, while a rug is a loose piece of thick heavy fabric.
I am renting and want to update the floor but not have a fixed structure.
The ideal solution would be to get a rug that you can place over the carpet to create a new fresh look, plus you can take it with you should you move out.
How to clean a rug?
Rugs can either be cleaned professionally, or you can do it yourself.
If you are going the DIY route, cacuum the rug on both sides, then wash the rug with a carpet shampoo (remember to test it on a small surface prior to using). Rinse thoroughly with water and hang it to dry. Once dry, vacuum the rug again before placing it back in your home.
